A bioretention area is a vegetated shallow depression that is designed to receive, retain, and infiltrate <br />rainwater runoff from sheet flow. The bioretention area provides a v~getated surface underlain with planting <br />media, gravel, and a subsurface drain pipe. <br />Bioretention Area 1 is located along the southwestern edge of the property, parallel to Menlo Street. <br />Bioretention Area 2 is located along the southern property line, adjacent to the southwest corner of the <br />property, parallel to Marina Boulevard. <br />Bioretention Area 3 is located along the southern property line, east of bioretention area 2, parallel to Marina <br />Boulevard. <br />Bioretention Area 4 is located along the southern property line, east of bioretention area 3, parallel to Marina <br />Boulevard. <br />Bioretention Area 5 is located at the southeast corner of the site, and exists on both the east and west side <br />of the driveway on Marina Boulevard, connected via equalizer pipe. <br />4
