IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020-023 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND <br />EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE 1995 AGREEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE <br />OF STATE HIGHWAYS IN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE FREEWAY <br />MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT (04-ALA 880 PM 22.6/24) BOTH OF WHICH ARE <br />BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA (CALTRANS) AND THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO (THE PURPOSE OF THE AGREEMENT IS TO PROVIDE FOR <br />DISTRIBUTION OF MAINTENANCE COSTS WITH CAL TRANS) <br />WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the 1995 Agreement for Maintenance of State <br />Highways in the City of San Leandro between the City of San Leandro and State of California, a <br />copy of which is attached, is presented to this City Council; and <br />·wHEREAS, a Freeway Maintenance Agreement with City of San Leandro (04-Ala 880 <br />PM 22.6/24) between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, a copy of which is <br />attached, is presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. ·. That said agreements substantially in the form presented are hereby approved and <br />execution by the City Manager, after approval as to form by the City Attorney, is hereby <br />authorized; and <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized to make revisions to said agreements, subject to <br />the,approval of the City Attorney; and · <br />3.
