Project Sponsor: City of San Leandro <br />Project Title: Install 0.26 miles of Class IV bikeway in San Leandro <br />4. Project Description: Project Sponsor shall construct and maintain the approved bicycle facility <br />components accessible to the general public at the approved installation locations, as further described in <br />Sections 9 and 10. <br />5. Project Goal: The goal of this Project is to reduce motor vehicle emissions and thereby improve air quality <br />by constructing, installing, and maintaining new bicycle facilities to help commuters and residents to mode <br />shift to cycling and walking as alternatives to driving for short and first- and last -mile trips. <br />0 <br />7 <br />Project Operational Period: Begins when the Project is made available to the public and lasts for ten (10) <br />years. <br />Project Schedule: <br />Milestone Date <br />Project commences Effective Date of Agreement <br />Award construction contract Within the first twelve months from the <br />Effective Date of Agreement <br />All bicycle facilities are placed into By November 30, 2022 <br />service/Project Operational Period commences <br />Post -completion bicycle count completed By November 30, 2023 <br />Project Operational Period ends Ten (10) years from the start of the Project <br />Operational Period <br />Special Conditions: <br />A. Project Sponsor shall maintain all bikeways and equipment funded under this Agreement for the <br />Project Operational Period and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, if applicable. <br />Project Sponsor must ensure that all Project equipment complies with all applicable requirements of <br />the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and that service is available to all members of the public <br />throughout the Project Operational Period and at least during the peak commute hours (5 AM-10 AM <br />and 3 PM-7 PM on weekdays). <br />B. Project Sponsor shall ensure that any construction work is fully permitted and performed by a <br />contractor licensed and contractor in the State of California. <br />C. [Reserved] <br />D. Project Sponsor must conduct a post -completion bicycle count (count) within the first twelve months <br />of the Project Operational Period using the Air District -approved count form, unless the Air District <br />notifies Project Sponsor in advance that this requirement is waived. The last day to conduct the count <br />is listed in Section 7 of Attachment A. Project Sponsor may propose to provide alternative data, <br />which must be approved by the Air District, for the Air District's evaluation of air quality benefits. <br />E. Project Sponsor shall allow the Air District, and its authorized representatives, to collect and share <br />usage information about the Project. Additionally, Project Sponsor agrees to provide information it <br />has collected regarding usage of the Project upon request. <br />TFCA Project 20R15 Page 8 <br />
