RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2020-127 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY <br />OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE SAN LEANDRO MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />(SLMO), AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE EMPLOYMENT <br />AGREEMENTS FOR POLICE CHIEF AND ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER WITH NO <br />SALARY INCREASE IN THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021 <br />WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding, (MOU) was reached between the <br />negotiators for the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro Management Organization (SLMO) <br />for the period July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, an employment agreement between the City of San Leandro and Jeffrey <br />Tudor as Police Chief was negotiated for the period January 31, 2020 through December 31, 2022; <br />and <br />WHEREAS', an employment agreement between the City of San Leandro and Elizabeth <br />Warmerdam, as Assistant City Manager was negotiated for the period September 1, 2020 through <br />December 31, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, the MOU, employment agreements, and attached salary schedules, have been <br />presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said MOU, agreements and attached salary schedules are hereby approved and <br />execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non -substantive revisions to the said MOU <br />and agreements, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney; and <br />3. That original executed agreements shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution. <br />
