April 16, 2020Disaster Council Minutes <br />Other Agencies within the City <br />• Chamber of Commerce <br />• Faith Based Organizations <br />• Building Futures with Women and Children <br />2.G. <br />Chamber of Commerce continues to keep in contact with businesses, and in <br />partnership with the City, have been offering no-cost online seminars and workshops <br />for small businesses and will be talking about the different loans and aid that's <br />available to businesses. The Chamber wanted to thank the community for helping out <br />Building Futures by participating in a successful gift card promo, where people could <br />buy a dinner and give a dinner for Building Futures. The results of a survey showed <br />that most businesses have laid off workers and applied for loans, one business is <br />closed completely. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS3. <br />Public Comments were received from L.
