Kim-Eubanks <br />Announcements1.B. <br />Members of the Disaster Council introduced themselves and the agencies they <br />represent. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS2. <br />City of San Leandro response to COVID-19 <br />•San Leandro City Council <br />2.A. <br />Mayor Cutter shared that the testing site has been extended through September. The <br />next meeting will be in two weeks. <br />Alameda County <br />•Office of Emergency Services <br />•Alameda County Fire Department <br />•Alameda Public Health Department <br />2.B. <br />Alameda County OES reported the EOC is activated in person on Mondays and <br />Wednesdays and virtually on Fridays. Due to the state having issues with their data <br />system, the county’s cases numbers are incorrect. Currently, there are 196 <br />hospitalized and 53 in the IC, which are down from the highs in July. While there is a <br />short supply of some PPE, such as non-latex gloves, the county has enough PPE. <br />The Public Health Department is maintaining the pause and planning for the next step, <br />including working with schools to reopen.
