August 6, 2020Disaster Council Minutes <br />are on, so school assignments can be made and sent out. <br />The current summer food distribution program ends Friday Aug 7 and will resume Aug <br />17, with modifications. The program will be expanding to 7 sites and will be only for <br />SLUSD students and they will have to show their student ids. The district is looking for <br />support from Federal government. <br />Utilities <br />•PG&E <br />•EBCE <br />2.F. <br />EBCE reported via email that the Resilient Home program, which will be for installing a <br />home solar and/or battery backup system by SunRun is available to city residents. <br />Other Agencies within the City <br />•Chamber of Commerce <br />•Faith Based Organizations <br />•Building Futures with Women and Children <br />2.G. <br />RACES reported that they developed a frequency list for family handled radios that can <br />be monitored and are still waiting on the status of the antenna on the PD, while using <br />team equipment to monitor the city. They have been relaying information from <br />Southern California to families in the Bay Area. <br />Unity Church shared that they are still planning for reopening and doing Zoom <br />meetings. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS3. <br />Public comment was provided by Mr. Jim Prola and Mr. Douglas Spalding. <br />ADJOURN4. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 2:46 p.m. <br />Page 4City of San Leandro
