Patrus-Betzel <br />Announcements1.B. <br />Members of the Disaster Council introduced themselves and the agencies they <br />represent. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS2. <br />City of San Leandro response to COVID-19 <br />•San Leandro City Council <br />2.A. <br />Mayor Cutter thanked everybody joining the meeting. We have been busy trying to <br />keep up and dealing with another crisis/learning event, including a lot of rioting and <br />looting due to recent events. We will have a testing site at the Marina Community <br />Center. Ron Davis from the Justice Department came and spoke to the Council about <br />community policing and the COPS grants. The Council released a letter to address the <br />transparency of investigations of alleged misconduct, and increased investment in <br />mental health support. The Council is looking to bring someone in to start a <br />discussion on the health of our city and will be asking the National League of Cities to <br />advise on how to develop a race and equity committee and to form listening sessions. <br />Vice Mayor Ballew shared that there is a concern about what happened to the different <br />Page 2City of San Leandro
