allocation of City General Fund monies (—$150,000 for FY 19-20), while CDBG funds available for public <br />services are capped and lower. The deadline to submit applications was March 28, 2019. The City <br />received 15 requests for funding applications. The total amount requested from all the applications was <br />almost two and a half times the amount of funds available from both programs. <br />On April 10, 2019 the Human Services Commission heard presentations from the majority of the <br />applicants. On April 24, 2019 Recreation and Human Services Department staff provided the Human <br />Services Commission its recommendations for CAP funding recipients based on those applications and <br />input from the Community Development Department's Housing Division's recommendations for CDBG- <br />funded public services.
