Johnson <br />Announcements1.B. <br />Members of the Disaster Council introduced themselves and the agencies they <br />represent. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS2. <br />City of San Leandro response to COVID-19 <br />• San Leandro City Council <br />• San Leandro City Manager <br />• San Leandro Police <br />2.A. <br />Mayor Cutter shared that the Disaster Council meetings have now moved to the 1st & <br />3rd Thursdays. <br />Vice Mayor Ballew shared that the City Council will be proclaiming September as <br />National Preparedness Month at the next meeting. He reminded the Disaster Council of <br />need to continue messaging that we are still in fire, smoke and heat seasons. <br />Councilmember Lopez mentioned that when the COVID vaccine is available, there will <br />be a lot to do. She stated that she is interested in meeting our new fire chief and <br />looking forward how we will be cooperating to provide services to the community. <br />City Manager Kay reported that the testing site continues to be very busy and with low <br />Page 2City of San Leandro <br />46
