McDaniel <br />Announcements1.B. <br />Members of the Disaster Council introduced themselves and the agencies they <br />represent. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS2. <br />City of San Leandro response to COVID-19 <br />• San Leandro City Council <br />2.A. <br />Mayor Cutter shared that the testing site has been extended through September. The <br />East Bay Discharge Authority received a grant and will be taking samples discharge <br />within San Leandro for testing. <br />Vice Mayor Ballew shared he attended a discussion on COVID which focused on <br />vaccines and distribution programs, mask wearing and the need to keep the message <br />up and the possible flu impact. <br />Councilmember Lopez congratulated Vice Mayor Ballew on next four years, thanked <br />Liz Warmerdam and Debbie Pollart for the work being done by the City to address <br />protection from poor air quality. <br />Page 2City of San Leandro <br />52
