City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: December 14, 2020 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:20-438 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />BY:Keith Cooke <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Susan Hsieh <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Approve Amendment <br />No. 4 to a Consulting Services Agreement with BKF Engineers for the <br />Preparation of Construction-Ready Plans, Specifications and Estimates for the <br />MacArthur/Superior Roundabout Design Project, Project No. 2014.0470 to <br />Increase the Amount of Compensation by $16,966 for a Total Not to Exceed <br />Amount of $164,300 (provides for additional work related to acquiring <br />right-of-way and easements from Caltrans that were not originally anticipated) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement dated May 13, 2016 exists between the City of San Leandro <br />and BKF Engineers; and <br />WHEREAS, a contract amendment is required to compensate for additional services to <br />acquire right-of-way and easements from the California Department of Transportation for the <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, Amendment No. 4 to the agreement, a copy of which is attached, is <br />presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the <br />agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said amendment is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 12/9/2020 <br />98
