Miguel - City Clerk <br />Liz Warmerdam - Assistant City Manager <br />Eric Engelbart - Deputy City Manager <br />Andrew Mogensen -Planning Manager <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS2. <br />2.A.20-478 Update on Laws and Regulations Related to Tobacco Retailers <br />Eric Engelbert, Deputy City Manager and Andrew Mogensen, Planning Manager <br />presented the item and responded to questions from the Committee members. <br />RULES COMMITTEE COMMENTS: <br />a. The Committee requested that an ordinance revision impose a CAP on the total <br />number of TRLs that could be issued by the city. <br />b. The Committee supports a ban on tobacco sales at pharmacies. <br />c. The Committee supports a ban of the issuance on TRLs in proximity to schools. <br />d. The Committee requested further discussion into point of sale requirements and an <br />assessment of the cost to retailers. <br />e.
