Before there were no center divisions. They put <br />them in and unfortunately nothing has changed the speeding. I do know for a fact that <br />police do sit on Beatty and have issued speeding tickets. A friend of my sons just got one <br />about 2 weeks ago. So it does happen. Probably not as much as needed. I’m truly not sure <br />what the answer is to help this situation. I see you're a traffic engineer, and that certainly explains how you know <br />so much. I think you could lend a great deal of credibility to any argument to address the <br />traffic issues on Lewelling Blvd. I understand from your comments about MUTCD that this <br />is a 100% uphill battle, but I accept that. I think with the proper motivation, the City could <br />address Lewelling Blvd, even if it meant coloring outside the lines of prescribed municipal <br />codes.
