<br />10 of 53 <br /> <br />Public Works Contractor Registration and Prevailing Wages <br />The Contractor agrees, in accordance with Section 1771.1 of the California Labor Code, <br />that Contractor or any subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid <br />proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or <br />engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in Chapter 1 of Part <br />7 of Division 2 of the California Labor Code, unless currently registered and qualified to <br />perform public work pursuant to California Labor Code section 1725.5. It is not a violation <br />of this section for an unregistered contractor to submit a bid that is authorized by Section <br />7029.1 of the Business and Professions Code or by Section 10164 or 20103.5 of the <br />Public Contract Code, provided the contractor is registered to perform public work <br />pursuant to Section 1725.5 at the time the contract is awarded. No contractor or <br />subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless <br />registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuan t to California Labor Code <br />section 1725.5. Contractor agrees, in accordance with Section 1771.4 of the California <br />Labor Code, that if the work under this Agreement qualifies as public work, it is subject to <br />compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. <br /> <br />The City reserves the right to request and review the contractor’s payroll records in the <br />form of certified payroll records. In the event certified payroll records are requested, they <br />are to be submitted via email to jauletta@sanleandro.org. Furthermore, the Contractor is <br />to submit two sets: a complete set and one redacted of private employee information <br />(name, address, and social security number). <br />Insurance Requirements <br />Requirements are incorporated in Section 4 of Attachment A, Non-Professional Services <br />Agreement (NPSA). Proposers are strongly encouraged to read Section 4 carefully and <br />review the details with their insurance agent(s) to avoid delays in the submission of <br />deliverables if selected. <br />All certificates of insurance and original endorsements effecting coverage required as <br />stated in Section 4 of Attachment A must be electronically submitted through the City’s <br />online insurance document management program, PINS Advantage. <br /> <br />Integrated Pest Management Policy <br />The City is committed to reduce or eliminate pesticide use in public areas using alternative <br />methods, where feasible. The selected contractor shall agree to adhere to the City of San <br />Leandro Integrate Pest Management Policy by selecting the least toxic methods for <br />controlling pests.
