RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021-026 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A NON-PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ADVANCED IPM FOR CITYWIDE PEST <br />CONTROL SERVICES FOR $29,061.33 FOR MONTHLY SERVICES AND AN <br />ADDITIONAL $7,000 FOR CALL -OUT SERVICES FOR THE INITIAL TERM, AND <br />TO EXECUTE FOUR ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR EXTENSIONS, ADJUSTED BY THE <br />CONSUMER PRICE INDEX (CPI) EACH YEAR FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT PRICE <br />OF APPROXIMATELY $150,000 <br />WHEREAS, a draft agreement between the City of San Leandro and Advanced IPM was <br />presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That said agreement substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and <br />execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non -substantial revisions to said <br />agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br />3. That the City Manager is authorized to execute the Non -Professional Services <br />Agreement for an initial contract price of $29,061.33 for monthly services and an additional $7,000 <br />for call -out services through the contract term ending June 30, 2022; and <br />4. That the City Manager is authorized, solely at the City's discretion, to execute four <br />additional one-year extensions, that include Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustments each year, <br />subject to budget appropriations in all future years; and <br />That an original executed agreement shall be attached to and made a part of this <br />resolution. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 15t day of February 2021, <br />by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />ici ' I.
