RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2020-154 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CAP) GRANTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-21 AND TO APPROVE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS OF S28,355 FROM THE GENERAL FUND UNASSIGNED FUND BALANCE TO OPERATING ACCOUNT 010-61-014-8513 TO RESTORE THE CAP TO FULL FUNDING OF S150,000 WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work of the City's health and human services community -based organizations in creating a safety net for the City's most vulnerable populations; and WHEREAS, the City Council supports efforts to address the following areas: mental health, hunger, shelter, safety net health care, domestic violence and other areas of need in San Leandro; and WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain health and human services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Manager is authorized to enter into (CAP) Grant agreements with the Recipients identified b e 1 o w, as recommended by the Human Services Commission to the City Council, for a total amount of $150,000 in account 010-61-014-8513 in the Fiscal Year 2020-21 adopted budget; AGENCY East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) Family Violence Law Center Girls, Inc. of Alameda County La Clinica de la Raza Mercy Retirement and Care Center Ruby's Place Safe Alternatives from Violent Environments (SAVE) TOTAL GENERAL FUND (CAP) $20,000 $25,000 $27,500 $32,500 $20,000 $15,000 $10,000 $150,000 That the City Manager is authorized to appropriate funds of $28,355 from the General Fund Unassigned Fund Balance to operating account 010-61-014-8513 in Fiscal Year 2020- 21.
