March 15, 2021City Council Minutes <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Ballew, seconded by Councilmember <br />Aguilar, that this Minute Order be Adopted. The motion carried by the <br />following vote. <br />Aye:Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Cutter7 - <br />Enactment No: Min Order 2021-011 <br />REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS TAKEN11. <br />CITY COUNCIL REPORTS12. <br />City Councilmembers reported on attendance at intergovernmental agency meetings, <br />conferences, and seminars since the last meeting. <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR AND ANNOUNCEMENTS13. <br />City Councilmembers announced calendar of upcoming events and coordinated <br />attendance; reported on local events attended since the last meeting; and made brief <br />comments on issues of concern. <br />COUNCIL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS14. <br />-A motion was made by Councilmember Lopez, seconded by Mayor Cutter to schedule <br />on the next available Finance Committee agenda, a discussion on “Shot Spotter” <br />technology that will assist the City and the Police Department. <br />Roll call was taken as follows: <br />Aye: Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />-A motion was made by Councilmember Simon, seconded by Councilmember <br />Azevedo to schedule on the next available Facilities and Transportation Committee <br />agenda, a discussion on a potential agreement with “Downtown Streets Team” to serve <br />key corridors in San Leandro. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken as follows: <br />Aye: Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />-A motion was made by Councilmember Simon, seconded by Vice Mayor Aguilar to <br />schedule on the next available Finance Committee agenda, a discussion on a the <br />evaluation of funding alternatives including a parcel tax, Development Impact Fees, <br />and an Economic Development Strategic Plan update, to bridge the funding gap for <br />CIPs and city services. <br />Roll call was taken as follows: <br />Aye: Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter <br />Page 5City of San Leandro <br />35
