Annual Action Plan <br />2021 <br />27 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />Estimate the number and type <br />of families that will benefit <br />from the proposed activities <br />Fifteen (15) low-income, owner-occupied households will have minor repairs completed in their single- <br />family or mobile homes. <br />Seventy-five (75) low-income households will be evaluated for lead-based paint and if needed, <br />remediated and assessed to confirm that there is no lead-based paint hazards. <br />Location Description The owner-occupied homes, located within the jurisdictional boundaries of San Leandro, will be <br />identified once the applications are processed. <br />The low-income rental households in the jurisdictional boundaries of San Leandro that were constructed <br />prior to 1978 and received more than 100 days of rental assistance from the Emergency Rental <br />Assistance Program (ERAP) funded by CDBD-CV Rounds I and III . <br />Planned Activities CDBG funds will be used to provide grants to 15 income-eligible (extremely low- and very low-income) <br />households to complete repairs to their owner-occupied single-family or mobile homes. Grants may be <br />used for minor repairs that improve health and safety, home accessibility, exterior clean up, exterior <br />paint, and seismic strengthening. <br />5 Project Name CDBG Economic Development 2021 <br />Target Area City-Wide <br />Goals Supported Increasing Economic Development Opportunities <br />Needs Addressed Community Development Needs –Economic Development <br /> <br />Funding CDBG: $0 <br />Description If any additional stimulus funding becomes available in this program year, the City may seek to allocate <br />CDBG funds to provide loans to eligible small businesses for property upgrades. Also, if feasible, CDBG <br />funds may be used to develop and implement a neighborhood strategy or plan for commercial corridor <br />revitalization. <br />Target Date 6/30/2022 <br />47
