Needs Addressed Affordable Housing Needs Funding CDBG: $300,000 Description The City's Single -Family Housing Rehabilitation Program will provide grants to very low- and low-income households for minor repairs to their homes. City will partner with Alameda County Healthy Homes and area jurisdictions to conduct Lead -Based Paint Assessments of ERAP Program Properties with Demonstrated need. Target Date 6/30/2022 Estimate the number and type Fifteen (15) low-income, owner -occupied households will have minor repairs completed in their single - of families that will benefit family or mobile homes. from the proposed activities Seventy-five (75) low-income households will be evaluated for lead -based paint and if needed, remediated and assessed to confirm that there is no lead -based paint hazards. Location Description The owner -occupied homes, located within the jurisdictional boundaries of San Leandro, will be identified once the applications are processed. The low-income rental households in the jurisdictional boundaries of San Leandro that were constructed prior to 1978 and received more than 100 days of rental assistance from the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) funded by CDBD-CV Rounds I and III . Planned Activities CDBG funds will be used to provide grants to 15 income -eligible (extremely low- and very low-income) households to complete repairs to their owner -occupied single-family or mobile homes.
