Needs Addressed <br />Affordable Housing Needs <br />Funding <br />CDBG: $300,000 <br />Description <br />The City's Single -Family Housing Rehabilitation Program will provide grants to very low- and low-income <br />households for minor repairs to their homes. <br />City will partner with Alameda County Healthy Homes and area jurisdictions to conduct Lead -Based <br />Paint Assessments of ERAP Program Properties with Demonstrated need. <br />Target Date <br />6/30/2022 <br />Estimate the number and type <br />Fifteen (15) low-income, owner -occupied households will have minor repairs completed in their single - <br />of families that will benefit <br />family or mobile homes. <br />from the proposed activities <br />Seventy-five (75) low-income households will be evaluated for lead -based paint and if needed, <br />remediated and assessed to confirm that there is no lead -based paint hazards. <br />Location Description <br />The owner -occupied homes, located within the jurisdictional boundaries of San Leandro, will be <br />identified once the applications are processed. <br />The low-income rental households in the jurisdictional boundaries of San Leandro that were constructed <br />prior to 1978 and received more than 100 days of rental assistance from the Emergency Rental <br />Assistance Program (ERAP) funded by CDBD-CV Rounds I and III . <br />Planned Activities <br />CDBG funds will be used to provide grants to 15 income -eligible (extremely low- and very low-income) <br />households to complete repairs to their owner -occupied single-family or mobile homes.
