RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021-054 <br />RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />AUTHORIZE AN APPROPRIATION OF $24,100 FROM THE SHORELINE FUND <br />BALANCE TO THE SHORELINE OPERATING ACCOUNT 597-57-003-5340 FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021 <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro did, on March 4, 2021, publicly open, examine and <br />declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in the bid documents for the <br />subject project; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposals were submitted to the Public Works Director who has found <br />that the proposal from West Coast Arborist, Inc. is the lowest responsive bid by a responsible <br />bidder for doing said work; and <br />WHEREAS, funding for this work does not currently exist in the Shoreline Operating <br />Account; and <br />WHEREAS, monies must be appropriated from Shoreline Fund Balance for the contract <br />work; and <br />WHEREAS, the work is justified to ensure the general health and safety of trees located in <br />Marina Park. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 an additional appropriation of funds shall be made <br />from the Shoreline Fund Balance to the Shoreline Operating Account 597-57-003- <br />5340 in the amount of $24,100 as follows: <br />• Increase Shoreline Operating Account 597-57-003-5340 by $24,100 <br />Introduced by Councilmember Ballew and passed and adopted this 5th day of April 2021, <br />by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />Le ' Miguel, City Herk <br />
