During the course of the arbitration proceedings provided herein, the covered <br />party will be responsible for all fees and expenses for investigation, defense <br />or litigation of a claim or lawsuit. In the event the arbitration panel <br />determines that coverage applies for such defense costs, the Authority will <br />reimburse the covered party as directed by the panel. <br />(c) Effects of Arbitration Decisions <br />All decisions on appeals, whether by the Board of Directors (after the time to <br />request arbitration has expired) or by the arbitration panel, shall be final and <br />binding upon the parties and shall not be subject to any further appeal or <br />court action, except as provided in Code of Civil Procedures sections 1286.2 <br />and 1286.4 (relating to fraud or corruption, etc.). <br />(d) General Law <br />Except as provided otherwise above, arbitration shall be conducted as <br />provided in Title 9 of the Code of Civil Procedure (commencing with section <br />1280). <br />Memorandum of Coverage <br />Effective: 0710112019 <br />32 <br />
