May 4, 2020 <br />Mr. Greg Tedesco <br />BART — Office of the CIO <br />300 Lakeside Drive, 1 It' Floor <br />Oakland, CA 94612 <br />SUBJECT: Statement of Self Insurance for the City of San Leandro <br />Dear Mr. Tedesco: <br />This letter serves as a Statement of Self Insurance for the City of San Leandro regarding the Dark Fiber <br />License Agreement with San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. <br />The City of San Leandro is self -insured for the first $500,000 for General Liability. As a member of the <br />California Joint Powers Risk Management Authority (CJPRMA) the City has $40,000,000 in excess <br />coverage. This coverage includes comprehensive general and automobile liability as defined in the <br />Memorandum of Coverage.
