RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2021-083 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION FOR COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CAP) GRANTS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2021-2022 AND 2022-2023 (AUTHORIZES THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO CAP GRANT AGREEMENTS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION OF $150,000 PER FISCAL YEAR IN ACCOUNT 010-61-014-8513 IN THE FISCAL YEARS 2021-2022 AND 2022-2023 PROPOSED BUDGET) WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work of the City's health and human services community -based organizations in creating a safety net for the City's most vulnerable populations; and WHEREAS, the City Council supports efforts to address the following areas: mental health, hunger, shelter, safety net health care, domestic violence and other areas of need in San Leandro; and WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain health and human services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Manager is authorized to enter into (CAP) Grant agreements with the Recipients identified below, as recommended by the Human Services Commission to the City Council, for a total amount of $150.000 per fiscal year in account 010-61-014-8513 in the Fiscal Years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 proposed budget: AGENCY East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) Hively La Clinica de la Raza Pathways Counseling Center at Seneca Ruby's Place Safe Alternatives from Violent Environments (SAVE) TOTAL GENERAL FUND (CAP) $22,500 $25,000 $10,000 $32,500 $35,000 $15,000 $10,000 $150,000 (per fiscal year)
