RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021-083 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />APPROVE RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO HUMAN <br />SERVICES COMMISSION FOR COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CAP) <br />GRANTS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2021-2022 AND 2022-2023 (AUTHORIZES THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO ENTER INTO CAP GRANT AGREEMENTS AS RECOMMENDED BY <br />THE HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION OF $150,000 PER FISCAL YEAR IN <br />ACCOUNT 010-61-014-8513 IN THE FISCAL YEARS 2021-2022 AND 2022-2023 <br />PROPOSED BUDGET) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work of the City's health <br />and human services community -based organizations in creating a safety net for the City's <br />most vulnerable populations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council supports efforts to address the following areas: mental <br />health, hunger, shelter, safety net health care, domestic violence and other areas of need in San <br />Leandro; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain <br />health and human services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows: <br />That the City Manager is authorized to enter into (CAP) Grant agreements with the <br />Recipients identified below, as recommended by the Human Services Commission to the <br />City Council, for a total amount of $150.000 per fiscal year in account 010-61-014-8513 in <br />the Fiscal Years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 proposed budget: <br />AGENCY <br />East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) <br />Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) <br />Hively <br />La Clinica de la Raza <br />Pathways Counseling Center at Seneca <br />Ruby's Place <br />Safe Alternatives from Violent Environments (SAVE) <br />TOTAL <br />GENERAL FUND (CAP) <br />$22,500 <br />$25,000 <br />$10,000 <br />$32,500 <br />$35,000 <br />$15,000 <br />$10,000 <br />$150,000 (per fiscal year) <br />
