RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021-090 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />APPROVE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR $150,000 OF <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 <br />FUNDS BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND REBUILDING TOGETHER <br />OAKLAND EAST BAY FOR THE PROVISION OF HOUSING <br />REHABILITATION GRANTS <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Rebuilding Together <br />Oakland East Bay, attached and incorporated herein, was presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That said agreement with Rebuilding Together Oakland East Bay is hereby approved <br />and CDBG funds are hereby authorized in the amount of $150,000 for the Housing <br />Rehabilitation Program. <br />2. That said agreement shall include grants to approximately twenty (20) homeowners <br />for, including but not limited to, minor home repair, mobile home repair, <br />accessibility, exterior paint, exterior yard clean-up, and seismic strengthening and <br />shall include $42,000 for Program Administration in account 165-43-232-5120 and <br />$108,000 for grants in account 165-43-232-8501. <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all agreements to effect this <br />Resolution. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 215' day of June 2021, by <br />the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: "7�,, - / Z.
