RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2021-095 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AGREEMENTS FOR FY 2021-2022 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG SUB - RECIPIENTS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO THE CHILD ABUSE LISTENING, INTERVIEWING, AND COORDINATION CENTER (CALICO) FOR $23,344; DAVIS STREET FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER FOR $35,000; SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENIORS, INC. (SOS/MEALS ON WHEELS) FOR $35,000; SPECTRUM COMMUNITY SERVICES (SAN LEANDRO SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM) FOR $24,909; (ECHO HOUSING) FOR $10,000 (APPROVES 5 AGREEMENTS TOTALING $128,253) WHEREAS, the final Annual Action Plan (referred to hereinafter as "the Plan") was adopted on May 3, 2021 by Resolution No. 2021-065 reflecting the activities that the City plans to fund and implement during FY 2021-2022, a copy of which is attached hereto; and WHEREAS, CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center (CALICO); Davis Street Family Resource Center; Service Opportunities for Seniors, Inc. (SOS/ Meals on Wheels); Spectrum Community Services (San Leandro Senior Nutrition Program); and Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity Housing (ECHO Housing) are presented to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreements. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro RESOLVES as follows: That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized for the CDBG public services grant amounts of $23,344 for CALICO; $35,000 for Davis Street Family Resource Center; $35,000 for SOS/Meals on Wheels; $24,909 for Spectrum Community Services; and $10,000 for ECHO Housing fair housing services, as further provided in the associated staff report.
