RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021-095 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AGREEMENTS <br />FOR FY 2021-2022 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG SUB - <br />RECIPIENTS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO THE CHILD ABUSE <br />LISTENING, INTERVIEWING, AND COORDINATION CENTER (CALICO) FOR <br />$23,344; DAVIS STREET FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER FOR $35,000; SERVICE <br />OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENIORS, INC. (SOS/MEALS ON WHEELS) FOR $35,000; <br />SPECTRUM COMMUNITY SERVICES (SAN LEANDRO SENIOR NUTRITION <br />PROGRAM) FOR $24,909; (ECHO HOUSING) FOR $10,000 (APPROVES 5 <br />AGREEMENTS TOTALING $128,253) <br />WHEREAS, the final Annual Action Plan (referred to hereinafter as "the Plan") was <br />adopted on May 3, 2021 by Resolution No. 2021-065 reflecting the activities that the City plans <br />to fund and implement during FY 2021-2022, a copy of which is attached hereto; and <br />WHEREAS, CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and <br />Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center (CALICO); Davis Street Family <br />Resource Center; Service Opportunities for Seniors, Inc. (SOS/ Meals on Wheels); Spectrum <br />Community Services (San Leandro Senior Nutrition Program); and Eden Council for Hope and <br />Opportunity Housing (ECHO Housing) are presented to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro RESOLVES as <br />follows: <br />That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized for <br />the CDBG public services grant amounts of $23,344 for CALICO; $35,000 for Davis Street <br />Family Resource Center; $35,000 for SOS/Meals on Wheels; $24,909 for Spectrum Community <br />Services; and $10,000 for ECHO Housing fair housing services, as further provided in the <br />associated staff report. <br />
