<br />Amendment No. 1 to <br />Non-Professional Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and 05/01/21 <br />William Avery & Associates for Labor Relations Activities Page 1 of 2 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br />WILLIAM AVERY & ASSOCIATES <br />FOR <br />LABOR RELATIONS AND NEGOTIATIONS <br /> <br />This Amendment No. 1 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) <br />and William Avery & Associates (“Contractor”) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of May <br />1, 2021, and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement (“Agreement”) dated July 1, 2010, <br />between the Parties. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Contractor have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Contractor has <br />provided certain services to City with regard to Labor Relations activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to change compensation from a monthly <br />retainer to an hourly basis for services performed. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay Contractor a <br />rate of $250 per hour not to exceed $45,000 per year; for services performed and <br /> <br />2.
