RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021-121 <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE(S) FOR <br />THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES 2021 ANNUAL CONFERENCE (PROVIDES <br />FOR DISCUSSION AND DESIGNATION OF A VOTING DELEGATE AND <br />ALTERNATE VOTING DELEGATE[S]) <br />WHEREAS, the League of California Cities ("League") 2021 Annual Conference is <br />scheduled for September 22-24 in Sacramento, California; and. <br />WHEREAS, an important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business <br />Meeting, scheduled for Friday, September 24, in which the League membership considers and <br />takes action on resolutions that establish League policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council must designate a voting delegate in order to vote at the <br />Annual Business Meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council may appoint up to two alternate voting delegates in the <br />event that the designated voting delegate is unable to serve in that capacity. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That Councilmember Azevedo is hereby designated as the voting delegate; and <br />That Vice Mayor Aguilar is hereby designated as the alternate voting delegate. <br />Introduced by Mayor Cutter and passed and adopted this 19th day of July 2021, by the <br />following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST: <br />eti is Miguel, Ci Clerk <br />(0) <br />
