homebuyer down payment assistance program called "AC Boost," a housing preservation program <br />called "Renew AC" that assists senior citizens, people with disabilities, and other low-income home <br />owners to remain safely in their homes, and "AC Housing Secure" that supports legal assistance to low <br />income tenants and landlords. <br />City staff continue to monitor developments in these regional and state funding initiatives and will work <br />to position affordable housing and community development projects in the City to be competitive in <br />applying for those funding resources. <br />Include the number of extremely low-income, low-income, and moderate -income persons <br />served by each activity where information on income by family size is required to determine <br />the eligibility of the activity. <br />Number of Households Served <br />CDBG Actual <br />HOME Actual <br />Extremely Low-income <br />0 <br />0 <br />Low-income <br />0 <br />0 <br />Moderate -income <br />0 <br />0 <br />Total <br />0 <br />0 <br />Table 7 — Number of Households Served <br />Narrative Information <br />Housing Rehabilitation Program: In FY 20-21 Rebuilding Together's Housing Rehabilitation Program <br />completed 20 housing rehabilitation grants allocated to low-income HHs including 19 HHs with either <br />extremely low- and low-income senior citizens and/or disabled persons. The repairs that received grants <br />in FY 20-21 included the installation of ADA grab bars, ramps & other accessibility improvements, <br />plumbing repairs & fixture replacements, porch railing installments & dry rot repairs, replacement of <br />water heater furnace, interior and exterior painting, weatherization of windows or replacement with <br />new dual glaze, roof repairs and/or replacement, energy efficiency upgrades, code enforcement related <br />yard clean-up and/or fence repair/replacement, and earthquake retrofits. The goal of this program is to <br />preserve existing affordable ownership housing for low- and moderate -income HHs & to allow senior <br />citizens to age in place if desired. <br />CAPER <br />14 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />
