File Number: 21-517 <br />·Discontinue weed abatement services along the Par Course at Marina Park <br />·Reduce mowing services at Marina Park to two times per month <br />·Discontinue mowing services along the Williams Street island <br />·Discontinue mowing services at Warden Park <br />The reduction in services is intended to reduce the total contract cost to align with the approved <br />budget. Park Maintenance staff will assume responsibility for weed abatement at the Shoreline, <br />turf will be eliminated from the Williams Street island, and Warden Park no longer requires turf <br />maintenance services. <br />Services provided by Rubicon Landscape Corporation include weekly mowing at all City park <br />sites, ball field sites, and other turf locations adjacent to parks, twice per month edging, twice per <br />year weed abatement and four times per year aeration and fertilization unless otherwise <br />specified. The contract will extend through June 30, 2022. <br />Previous Actions <br />·Resolution No. 2016-023 Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Non-Professional <br />Services Agreement with Rubicon Enterprises, Inc. for Citywide Turf Maintenance <br />·Resolution No. 2017-117 Authorizing the City Manager to Extend Term for One Year and <br />Allowing for Three Additional 1-Year Extensions <br />·Resolution No. 2020-078 Authorizing the City Manager to Extend the Term for One Year <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />The amendment of the agreement will cost a total of $165,062.18 for fiscal year 2021-2022.
