September 20, 2021City Council Minutes <br />10.A.21-528 Staff Report to Remove from the Table the Second Reading of <br />Ordinance No. 2020-12 Amending the Zoning Code, Zoning Map, and <br />Municipal Code to Implement the 2018 Bay Fair TOD Specific Plan <br />(Introduced on December 7, 2020) <br />Public Comment was received by Douglas Spalding, Emily Griego, and Ginny Madsen. <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Azevedo, seconded by Mayor Cutter, <br />that this Staff Report be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote. <br />Aye:Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Cutter7 - <br />REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS TAKEN11. <br />City Attorney Richard Pio Roda reported there was no reportable action taken and <br />direction was provided to staff. <br />CITY COUNCIL REPORTS12. <br />City Councilmembers reported on attendance at intergovernmental agency meetings, <br />conferences, and seminars since the last meeting. <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR AND ANNOUNCEMENTS13. <br />City Councilmembers announced calendar of upcoming events and coordinated <br />attendance; reported on local events attended since the last meeting; and made brief <br />comments on issues of concern. <br />COUNCIL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS14. <br />-A motion was made by Councilmember Lopez, seconded by Mayor Cuttter to <br />schedule a Proclamation Declaring Hispanic Heritage Month in San Leandro <br />Roll call was taken as follows: <br />Aye: Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />-A motion was made by Councilmember Simon, seconded by Councilmember Lopez, <br />to schedule on the Rules Committee agenda, a discussion on an Anti-idling ordinance. <br />Primarily for trucks and diesel vehicles and later expand to regular vehicles <br />Roll call was taken as follows: <br />Aye: Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />-A motion was made by Councilmember Simon, seconded by Councilmember <br />Azevedo, to schedule on the Rules Committee agenda, a discussion on banning the <br />sale of new gas-powered landscaping equipment <br />Roll call was taken as follows: <br />Aye: Aguilar, Azevedo, Lopez, Simon <br />Nay: Ballew, Cox, Mayor Cutter <br />Page 6City of San Leandro
