April 9, 2020Disaster Council Minutes <br />meals being served. Spring Break will be 04/13/20 through 04/17/20 and there will be <br />no meal service. <br />Utilities2.F. <br />PG&E is focused on COVID and on keeping the grid functional, while following health <br />guidelines. The EOC has been open since Feb. There have been issues with <br />facilities opening up and requesting power generation and the application process has <br />been having issues. Organizations should be going to the County EOC and they will <br />be directed to PG&E. They are also working internally on PSPS and will be reaching <br />out to share information, and the field is doing a lot of hardening and vegetation <br />management work. <br />Other Agencies within the City <br />• Chamber of Commerce <br />• Faith Based Organizations <br />• Building Futures with Women and Children <br />2.G. <br />Chamber of Commerce recently sent out a list of banking institutions to chamber <br />members, in order to get applications in. Banks are inundated and must review <br />requests before any further action in the application process. A short survey was sent <br />to chamber members and other businesses to see what actions they are taking during <br />COVID and results will be out soon. They continue doing some of their regular <br />meetings virtually. They are going to work to get meal donations for Building Futures. <br />1st United Methodist San Leandro reported out about how funeral services are being <br />handled. The winter night time warming shelter will be closing on 4/15, while Building <br />Futures will continue to be open for morning drop in.
