Driveways and/or travel aisles shall provide unobstructed access for
collection vehicles and personnel.
E. Applicant/Property Owner must ensure that there is adequate space for a
collection vehicle to enter and exit the property in order to service each
container (dumpster, compactor or roll -off).
F. Trash enclosure must be of sufficient size to keep one dumpster under each
chute, plus enough space to keep a spare dumpster for each (to be utilized
on service days).
G. If gates with locks are planned to limit access to the property, then the
Applicant/Property Owner must provide keys or cards to the franchised
waste hauler. If keys or cards are not provided, then the Applicant/Property
Owner must ensure that all secured gates are open at 6:00 a.m. for
collection.
H. The property owner, occupant and tenants shall maintain enclosure(s)/trash
chute termination rooms free of litter and other debris in accordance with the
San Leandro Municipal Code §3-15-215. The franchised waste hauler is
responsible for replacement of containers in the event that they are in a
condition of disrepair.
I. Per the San Leandro Municipal Code §3-1-200, storage of solid waste,
recycling, and other materials outside of the enclosure that is visible from the
street is prohibited at all times.
9. The project site is within the Waste Management of Alameda County (WMAC)
service area. Refer to the franchised waste hauler for further assistance with
capacity needs and container sizes: Alameda County Industries (510) 613-8710.
XI. EAST BAY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT
Water Service. When the development plans are finalized, the project sponsor
shall contact EBMUD's New Business Office and request a water service
estimate to determine the costs and conditions of providing water service to the
development. Engineering and installation of water mains and meters requires
substantial lead time, which should be provided for in the project sponsor's
development schedule. The project sponsor should be aware that Section 31 of
EBMUD's Water Service Regulations requires that water service shall not be
furnished for new or expanded service unless all of the applicable water -
efficiency measures described in the regulation are installed at the project
sponsor's expense. Due to EBMUD's limited water supply, all customers should
plan for shortages in time of drought.
XII. CONSTRUCTION PROVISIONS
Construction Easements. All construction activities shall be conducted on the
project site unless appropriate construction easements are obtained from
neighboring property owners.
Agreement to Conditions August 3, 2021
PLN20-0022 15693 E. 14th Street Page 15 of 20
