6 Maintenance <br />a) Fit the pump housing. <br />b) Fit and tighten the lubricated screws. <br />Tightening torque: 57 Nm (42 ft-lb). <br />8. Loosen the impeller screw and turn the adjustment screw clockwise until the impeller <br />makes contact with the insert ring. <br />9. Tighten the impeller screw. <br />Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ft-lb). <br />Tighten a further 1/8 turn, 45°, aftertightening to the correct torque. <br />10.Check that the impeller can rotate freely. <br />WARNING: Crush Hazard <br />' Beware of the pinch point hazard between the rotating impeller and the <br />guide pin. <br />11.Check with an extended feeler gauge that the impeller clearance is 0.1-0.6 mm (0.004- <br />0.024 in). <br />s <br />12.Re-install the pump. <br />T-installations: See the instructions in T-installation: Bleed air before starting pump on <br />page 38. <br />64 Flygt 3102 Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manual <br />
