City of San Leandro <br />Installation Agreement – Att A <br />Page 3 of 17 <br />•Replacement of existing spring isolators on existing equipment curb. <br />•Disconnection/reconnection to the existing BAS. <br />•Start-up/testing of the new unit. <br />•Final engineering will determine new chiller design specifications. <br />The Scope of Work excludes: <br />•Electrical upgrades/modifications not specifically included in the scope. <br />•Repairs and/or modifications to either the existing structural support or to the roofing. <br />•Repairs such as, but not limited to, water leaks, expansion tanks, piping, valves/actuators, <br />chiller water feed, associated water circulating pumps and associated controls, not <br />specifically included in the scope. <br />Replace one (1) air handling unit with a new high efficiency unit of similar size and capacity. Please <br />refer to the HVAC Mechanical Inventory for equipment size and location. <br />The Scope of Work includes: <br />•Removal and proper disposal of the existing unit per EPA guidelines. <br />•Installation of one (1) new air handling unit with chilled water coil and variable frequency <br />drive (VFD). <br />•Necessary piping modifications at the inlet and outlet of the replacement unit. <br />•Replacement of one (1) chilled water control valve. <br />•Duct modifications needed to install unit. <br />•Disconnection/reconnection of the existing electrical service. <br />•Disconnection/reconnection to the existing BAS. <br />•Start-up/testing of the new unit. <br />The Scope of Work excludes: <br />•Undisclosed electrical and structural upgrades/modifications. <br />•Unforeseen repairs to existing equipment such as, but not limited to, water leaks, piping, <br />valves/actuators, and associated controls not listed in above scope. <br />•Asbestos removal or remediation. <br />Refurbish twelve (12) existing fan coil units. Please refer to the HVAC Mechanical Inventory for <br />equipment information. <br />The Scope of Work includes: <br />•Replacement of the existing blower motors. <br />•Replacement of the existing belts and adjustment of pulleys. <br />•Clean the interior of each unit and coil. <br />•Perform air flow measurements at the inlet and outlet of each unit. <br />•Start-up and testing of the units. <br />•Documentation of equipment deficiencies and recommendations for any further repairs. <br />The Scope of Work excludes: <br />•Undisclosed electrical and structural upgrades/modifications. <br />•Replacement the fan coil units or controls on the units. <br />•Replacement of existing hot water or chilled water coils and control valves. <br />36
