Authorizing Resolution <br />GRANTEE passes one resolution approving the filing of all applications associated with <br />the CONTRACT and forwards a copy to OGALS. <br />The Authorizing Resolution on the following page may be reformatted; however, the <br />language provided in the resolution must remain unchanged. <br />The Authorizing Resolution serves two purposes: <br />It Is how the GRANTEE'S Governing Body agrees to the terms of the CONTRACT; it <br />provides confirmation that the GRANTEE has the funding to complete, operate and <br />maintain PROJECTS associated with the CONTRACT. <br />2. It designates a position title to represent the Governing Body on all matters <br />regarding PROJECTS associated with the CONTRACT. The incumbent in this <br />position Is referred to as the AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE. <br />The AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE can delegate signatory authority to other Individuals <br />(by position title) either in entirety or for particular documents. The delegation process <br />requires the AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE to submit a letter (on letterhead) or email to <br />OGALs delegating authority. <br />
