RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2022-009 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE SAN LEANDRO MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION (SLMO) FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2022 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2022 WHEREAS, an agreement was reached between the negotiators for the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro Management Organization (SLMO); and WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and Salary Schedule attached as Appendix A, between the City and SLMO, for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022, was presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does hereby RESOLVE as follows: 1. That said MOU and salary schedule are hereby approved; and 2. That Council authorize an appropriation of $281,168 from the General Fund unrestricted fund balance to cover the increased costs of this SLMO labor agreement; and That Council authorizes programming $140,584 each year into the corresponding SLMO salary and benefit accounts for the Fiscal Year 2021-22 and Fiscal Year 2022-23 Adopted Budgets; and 4. That the City Manager is authorized to execute said MOU and make non -substantive revisions subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and 5. That an original executed MOU shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.
