RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022-013 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A $59,600 <br />CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FREYER AND LAURETA, INC. FOR <br />DESIGN OF A SANITARY SEWER FORCE MAIN AND VALVE VAULT COVERS; <br />AND TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENTS UP TO 15% (OR $8,940) OF THE ORIGINAL <br />CONTRACT AMOUNT; (PROVIDES FOR THE DESIGN OF CERTAIN SANITARY <br />SEWER IMPROVEMENTS) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Freyer and Laureta, Inc. <br />is presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby RESOLVES <br />as follows: <br />1. That said agreement substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and <br />execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non -substantial revisions to said <br />agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br />3. That an original executed agreement shall be attached to and made a part of this <br />resolution; and <br />4. That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve contract <br />amendments up to a maximum of $8,940, which is 15% of the original contract amount. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Ballew and passed and adopted this 18`" day of January <br />2022, by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: N r e (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />Leticia I. 94iguQ, City C k <br />
