Other Reimbursables <br /> <br />The City will reimburse the Consultant monthly for <br /> <br />(i) The costs incurred by Consultant for third party emergency veterinary services to animals that <br />were found in San Leandro <br />(ii) Major medical services provided in-house, reimbursable at 80% of the retail charge for such <br />services. <br />(iii) The East Bay SPCA will provide euthanasia services for small wildlife and cats brought in by <br />San Leandro Animal Control Officers through the East Bay SPCA Full Services Veterinary <br />clinic. This service may be provided only during working hours (M-F 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and <br />only for animals that are terminally injured and clearly in need of immediate euthanasia. Any <br />animal determined to need emergency veterinary care instead of euthanasia would need to be <br />transferred to an emergency veterinary clinic by, and at cost to, San Leandro Animal Control. <br />San Leandro is responsible for taking the body for disposal services. Animals euthanized <br />through this provision would not count against the contracted number of sheltered animals and <br />would be charged at a rate of $125 per animal in addition to the other contract fees. <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: C0E092D4-CA18-4010-853D-AB1E26C6180C <br />147
