DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />3.A. 21-442 Paratransit FLEX Shuttle Expansion and Implementation Plan <br /> <br />Recreation and Human Services Manager Ely Hwang presented the Paratransit <br />FLEX Shuttle Expansion and Implementation Plan to the committee. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REQUESTS/DIRECTION TO STAFF: <br />a. Mayor Cutter would like staff to investigate what other modes of <br />transportation the City could explore via electric car grants and <br />electric charging station grants. <br />b. Mayor Cutter suggests talking to more groups on the route, for <br />instance, Pastor Fong with Heritage Baptist, to promote the <br />service. <br /> <br />3.B. 21-433 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REQUESTS/DIRECTION TO STAFF: <br /> <br />a. Council Member Cox agrees with Keith’s plan for the September <br />meeting agenda. <br />b. Council Member Cox asks for additional future items to be <br />considered, including: <br />a. Have a policy in place where the City to replace trees <br />that are taken out due to sidewalk repair, either in the <br />same location or elsewhere (Azevedo agrees). <br />b. Requesting a Soft-Story Regulations presentation <br />(Council Member Azevedo agrees). <br />c. Look at installing more public safety cameras throughout <br />the City (Mayor Cutter agrees). <br /> <br />4. COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were no Committee Member comments. <br /> <br />5. ADJOURN <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
