$1.68 billion for permanent housing such as dedicated affordable housing and permanent <br />supportive housing, and $388 million for prevention, rapid rehousing and shallow subsidies; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funding will be needed for the one-time development costs for <br />new buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, to achieve the needed expansion level will take a significant investment of <br />new resources; and <br />WHEREAS, there are anticipated increases in Federal and in State resources dedicated <br />to expanding affordable housing and ending homelessness; and <br />WHEREAS, there is still a significant gap that will need to be filled locally; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to receive future funding made available through the County, <br />Cities must endorse the Home Together 2026 plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Council endorses the Alameda County Home Together 2026 Implementation <br />Plan. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted this 18th day of April 2022, <br />by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmember Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Non /� <br />ATTEST: ' • CSC <br />Kelly B.
