Planning Commission Recommendation <br />16 <br />November 4, 2021: Planning Commission recommended approval with changes:•In the DA and SA Districts:Eliminate minimum parking requirements. Establish a maximum of 0.5 spaces per residential unit.Require 15% electric vehicle (EV) charging spaces <br />Require a minimum of one bicycle parking space per unit•Citywide: Include carshare parking spaces as an amenity option in Section 4.04.336.B.4, Required <br />Amenities <br />The above changes have been incorporated into the Draft Code Amendments for the Council’s <br />consideration <br />•Council may wish to decouple and defer the automobile parking amendments. If desired, staff would <br />return at a later date with proposed parking amendments after additional outreach and analysis is <br />performed and appropriate Transportation Demand Management (TDM) policies are prepared
