Truck hauling activities shall be restricted to 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There shall be no truck hauling <br />activity on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays without prior approval from the Community <br />Development Director, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. <br />79. Applicant/Developer shall comply with the requirements of the approved acoustic study. All <br />construction contracts shall identify these requirements and shall be acknowledged by the <br />contractor. <br />80. For construction, grading, and demolition activities that would use vibration -intense equipment <br />such as pile driving, stone columns, rammed aggregate piers, deep soil mixing, rock blasting and <br />vibratory rollers that would occur within 250 feet of existing residential, commercial, libraries, and <br />hotel buildings, the steps outline in Mitigation Measure NOISE-2 shall be implemented in close <br />coordination with City of San Leandro staff so that alternative construction techniques or scheduling <br />approaches are undertaken. <br />81. The Applicant/Developer shall comply with the requirements of the approved Monarch Butterfly <br />Roosting Habitat plan. All construction contracts shall identify these requirements and shall be <br />acknowledged by the contractor. <br />82. Any emissions control device used by <br />the contractor shall achieve emissions reductions that are no less than what could be achieved by a <br />Tier 4 interim emissions standard for similarly sized highway engines, as defined by the California Air <br />Resources Board's regulations. The requirement to use Tier 4 interim off -road equipment for engines <br />over 50 horsepower shall be identified in construction bids. Prior to construction, the project engineer <br />shall ensure that all demolition and grading plans clearly show compliance with this condition. During <br />construction, the construction contractor shall maintain a list of all operating equipment in use on the <br />Project Site for verification by the City of San Leandro Building Official or their designee. The <br />construction equipment list shall state the makes, models, and numbers of construction equipment <br />on -site. Equipment shall properly service and maintain construction equipment in accordance with <br />the manufacturer's recommendations. Construction contractors shall also ensure that all nonessential <br />idling of construction equipment is restricted to five minutes or less in compliance with California Air <br />Resources Board's Rule 2449. <br />84. The Project's construction contractors shall maintain a list of all operating equipment in use on the <br />project site for verification by the City of San Leandro Community Development <br />Department/Building Division.
