A minimum of two (2) public hearings are required with at least one (1) hearing held <br />before the Draft FY 2022-2023 Annual Action Plan is published for public comment. <br />A summary of the draft Annual Action Plan was published in the Daily Review newspaper on March 11, <br />2022. Copies of the Draft FY 2022-2023 Annual Action Plan will be available for review on the City's <br />website at.https://www.sanleandro.org/292/Housing-Plans beginning March 22, 2022. The second <br />public hearing will be held May 2, 2022, at which time the City Council will consider approval of the final <br />Plan. <br />S. Summary of public comments <br />Throughout the process we received three Public Comments, all of which were spoken at the <br />first Public Hearing on March 21, 2022. Below is a summary of the comments: <br />1. John Minot: a) supportive of funding a Navigation Center to support our <br />homeless population, b) expressed concern regarding the fact that the $150,000 <br />Minor Home Repair grant did not apply to duplexes or triplexes <br />2. Stephen Michael Tow: a) expressed concern regarding the fact that the <br />$150,000 Minor Home Repair grant did not apply to duplexes or triplexes, b) <br />supportive of funding a Navigation Center to support our homeless population <br />3. Virginia Madsen: a) wanted to know how many years of payments remain on <br />the Section 108 loan for the San Leandro Senior Center <br />6. Summary of comments or views not accepted and the reasons for not accepting them <br />All comments were accepted. <br />7.
