IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2022-92 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH ANI PRIVATE SECURITY AND PATROL, INC. FOR $135,000 WHEREAS, ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc. provided a response to the City's request for proposals for security services for social events at the Marina and Senior Community Centers, Surlene Grant Community Room, and City Hall, in the City of San Leandro; and WHEREAS, the City Council supports facility reservations and allows these security services to be available for the rentals of both the Titan Auditorium at the Marina Community Center and Main Hall at the Senior Community Center, the Surlene Grant Community Room, and City Hall; and WHEREAS, the City supports the continuation of a safe environment at social events and at City Hall; and WHEREAS, the City has had previous contractual agreements with security companies for said work since 2011 and wishes to create the new contract through Fiscal Year 2022-23; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. That said agreement, attached hereto and made a part hereof, is for the duration of the the2022-23 Fiscal Year and is hereby approved; and 2. That the terms of the agreement will be memorialized in writing, and may be amended from time to time by the City Manager, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form; and 3. That the City Manager is authorized to execute said agreement with ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc.; and 4. That an original executed agreement shall be provided to the City Clerk and be attached and made a part of this resolution.
