A <br />roll <br />INTERNAL SERVICE FUNDS <br />Internal Service Funds are used to account for special activities and services performed by a designated City department <br />for other departments on a cost reimbursement basis. <br />Building Maintenance - This fund accounts for the City's custodial maintenance and minor building modifications <br />performed on various City complexes. The source of revenue is reimbursement of costs for services performed to the <br />departments. <br />Information Management Services - This fund accounts for centralized data processing and the maintenance, <br />acquisition and replacement of computerized systems. Source of revenue for this fund is reimbursement of costs for <br />services and equipment purchased by other departments. <br />Self -Insurance - This fund accounts for the administration of the City's self-insurance programs, payment of workers' <br />compensation and liability claims payments. <br />Equipment Maintenance - This fund accounts for the maintenance and replacement of vehicles and equipment used by <br />all City departments. Source of revenue for this fund is reimbursement of costs for services and supplies purchased by <br />other departments. <br />121 <br />
