The City Council continued the matter of appointments to <br />1270 <br />the Oakland Airport -Community Noise Management Forum to the July <br />1215 <br />15, 2002, City Council Meeting (appointment of one "Elected Official," <br />one "Alternate," and one "Community Representative"; two-year terms <br />of office — August 1, 2002 thru July 31, 2004). <br />Minority/Egual Opportunity; Resolution Supporting Equal Opportunity in <br />39 <br />07-01-02 <br />1250 <br />San Leandro and Eliminating the Use of the Term "Minority" in City of San <br />1123 <br />Leandro Programs, Services, Documents, and Operations (resolves the City of <br />San Leandro's intention to discontinue the use of the term "minority"). The <br />City Council referred the matter back to the City Council Human <br />Relations Committee. <br />City Council Recess During the Month of August, Confirmation of. The <br />40 <br />07-01-02 <br />2526 <br />City Council confirmed the City Council will recess for the month of <br />August 2002.The next Regular City Council Meeting following the August <br />recess will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2002. <br />Town Hall Guidelines, (Reports on City Council Committees, Item 6.B.3.a., <br />41 <br />07-15-02 <br />-- <br />Rules and Communications Committee Meeting of June 27, 2002.). The City <br />Council directed staff to schedule consideration of "Town Hall <br />Guidelines" on the September 3, 2002, City Council Agenda. <br />Job Classifications; Matter of Ratifying the Creation of Six (6) New Job <br />42 <br />07-15-02 <br />1079 <br />Classifications; Deleting Four (4) Existing Classifications; Adding the <br />1926 <br />Existing Administrative Assistant IV to the SLCEA Salary Schedule; and <br />2134 <br />Adopting Revised SLCEA and SLMO Salary Schedules to Reflect All of the <br />1177 <br />Aforementioned Actions (acknowledges classification and salary changes and <br />adopts the revised Salary Schedules).
