Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Council Members Badger, Glaze, Grant, Loeffler, Nardine, Santos; <br />Mayor Young <br />ABSENT: None <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNMONS <br />A. Recognition of the Employee of the Month — For the Month of May 2002, Roxanne <br />May, Human Resources Department. <br />Roxanne May was present and was recognized as Employee of the Month by Mayor <br />Young. Justinian Caire, Human Resources Director, and Rob Caughell, Senior <br />Personnel Analyst, also recognized Ms. May's service to their Department and the <br />City. <br />B. Presentation to Police Officer Jeff Jouaiucot Commemorating the Service of Police <br />K-9 Jambo. <br />Officer Jouanicot accepted the commemorative plaque from Mayor Young. Dennis <br />Glover, Police Captain, and Jerry Codde, Sergeant, also recognized both Jambo and <br />Office Jouanicot's service to their Department and the City. <br />C. Proclamation Declaring May 6-12, 2002, as "National Nurses Week in San <br />Leandro." <br />Janice Ferguson, Chief Nursing Officer, San Leandro Hospital, accepted the <br />proclamation from Mayor Young and Council Member Glenda Nardine. <br />D. Proclamation Declaring April 14-20, 2002, as "Wastewater Workers Recognition <br />Week." <br />Delmarie Snodgrass, Administrative Aide, accepted the proclamation from Mayor <br />Young on behalf of City of San Leandro wastewater workers. <br />
