Staff recommends the adoption of an interim ordinance to help ensure an <br />appropriate level of land use control while the Development Strategy is in progress. The <br />Development Strategy would initially be funded with $50,000 in allocations from the <br />Redevelopment Agency and the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). <br />Additional funding from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission would allow the <br />study to be broadened and developed to a greater level of detail. <br />
