Eminent Domain Policy Statement 2 February 27, 2001 <br />adopted a specific policy regarding the exercise of eminent domain. Given the extent of <br />development activity along Marina Boulevard and the growing interest in the Auto <br />Center, it is timely to consider adopting a specific policy regarding the use of eminent <br />domain. <br />Previous Redevelopment Agency Action <br />On February 5, 2001, the Redevelopment Agency directed staff to prepare a Policy <br />Statement regarding the use of eminent domain in furtherance of the Auto Center for <br />Agency consideration and action. <br />City Council Committee Review and Action <br />The Economic Development and Redevelopment Committee reviewed and commented <br />upon the Policy Statement at its February 27, 2001 meeting.
